“Rating Life” is the bearing life calculated for 90% reliability. This is the amount of time that a group of apparently identical bearings will complete or exceed before the formation of a fatigue spall.
The basic formula for calculating bearing L10 rating life is:

「額定壽命」是以90%可靠性計算的軸承壽命。這是一組表面上相同的軸承在出現疲勞剝落之前所經歷或超過的時間。
計算軸承L10額定壽命的基本公式為：

where:

C = Dynamic Capacity (dN or Lbs)
P = Equivalent Bearing Load (N or Lbs)
N = Rotating speed in RPM
e = 3.0 for ball bearings, 10/3 for roller bearings
